MEDICARE PART A
Medicare Part A covers medically necessary hospital expenses. This includes hospital visits, skilled nursing faculties, home health care, and hospice care. You earn Part A from working 10 years or more while paying taxes toward Medicare.
Part A is subject to Deducible, Coinsurance, and Copayments.
MEDICARE PART B
Medicare Part B covers most medically necessary medical expenses such as doctor services, lab work, x rays, outpatient, preventive care, durable medical equipment, and mental health.
Part B is subject to a premium based on income level, deductibles, and co-payments.
MEDICARE PART D
Medicare Part D prescription drug plans are not covered by original Medicare. You will need to enroll in a prescription drug plan when you are first eligible, or you will pay a late enrollment penalty. You can get Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage either through an independent Prescription Drug Plan (PDP), or through a Medicare Advantage Plan that includes prescription drug coverage
